Twitter to cut 8% of its Workforce

Twitter recently announced that it would be laying off 336 of its employees

Twitters CEO Jack Dorsey announced recently that it will be laying off 8% of it's workforce after its latest quarterly results in July revealed the slowest rise in monthly average users since it went public in 2013, a performance that Jack Dorsey called unacceptable

Twitter employs around 4,100 people in more than 35 offices around the globe. After the announcement Twitters shares fell 3.1% to $29.90
